Dr. Mohammad Yousefi
General Dentist
Dr. Mohammad Yousefi is a dedicated general dentist with over 30 years of experience in dentistry, including 11 years in Iran and more than 20 years in Canada. He focuses on root canal therapy and implant dentistry, delivering precise, high-quality care tailored to each patient.
He is committed to creating a comfortable and positive experience, taking the time to clearly explain treatment plans and ensure patients feel at ease throughout their visit. Dr. Yousefi utilizes advanced technology, including CT imaging and intraoral scanning, to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
Dr. Yousefi earned his DDS degree in 1993 and completed further accreditation at the University of Western Ontario in 2008. He continues to expand his expertise through ongoing education in Invisalign, implants, and bone grafting.
Fluent in English and Farsi, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, a dental hygienist, and their two grown-up sons.
Dr. Ali Mehdi
Oral Surgery & Implant Specialist | Founder, Clinical Catalyst
Dr. Ali Mehdi is a dental surgeon whose practice is dedicated to oral surgery, implant dentistry, and advanced full-mouth rehabilitation. With over 15 years of surgical experience and advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he has built a reputation for managing complex cases with precision, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
After earning his dental degree in 2008, Dr. Mehdi completed specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, gaining extensive experience in facial trauma, oral pathology, reconstructive surgery, cleft lip and palate care, and complex dentoalveolar surgery. This broad surgical foundation continues to shape his approach today, where every treatment is guided by meticulous planning, evidence-based care, and a commitment to achieving predictable, long-term outcomes.
His clinical practice focuses on dental implants, full-arch implant rehabilitation (All-on-X), advanced bone grafting, immediate implant placement, wisdom tooth surgery, and the management of complex surgical cases. By integrating advanced 3D imaging, digital workflows, and guided surgical techniques, he delivers highly personalized treatment designed to restore function, aesthetics, and lasting oral health.
Dr. Mehdi believes exceptional dentistry extends far beyond technical skill. Every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and confident in their treatment decisions. A passionate educator, Dr. Mehdi is the founder of Clinical Catalyst, an educational platform dedicated to advancing implant dentistry through mentorship, continuing education, and collaborative learning. He regularly lectures, mentors fellow dentists, and partners with colleagues throughout British Columbia to elevate standards of surgical care while fostering strong referral relationships.
Dr. Mehdi is the founder of Clinical Catalyst, an educational platform focused on elevating surgical thinking and simplifying complex concepts for clinicians. Through lectures, study clubs, and digital education.
Service has remained a defining part of Dr. Mehdi’s professional journey. Throughout his career, he has supported charitable initiatives benefiting children and underserved communities, including volunteer work with SOS Children’s Villages and BC Children’s Hospital. More recently, he has become actively involved in collaborative efforts to improve access to culturally safe oral healthcare for Indigenous communities across British Columbia, reflecting his belief that meaningful partnerships can create lasting improvements in health equity.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Mehdi has completed executive education at Harvard University in healthcare leadership and continues to pursue advanced training in implant dentistry, digital surgery, and patient-centred care. His philosophy is rooted in combining surgical excellence with compassion, innovation, and integrity.
